After graduating from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Biology and French, I worked in various industries at home and abroad.  Dissatisfied with the corporate 9-to-5 world, I took time off to travel and in so doing rediscovered my love of the camera.

I relocated to Chicago in 2002 to study at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  While pursuing a Photography curriculum, I also worked as a Photo Assistant in several commercial studios and for various independent artists.  Since 2005, I've kept busy with freelance studio work, events, and special projects for private clients.

In addition to my commercial and portraiture commissions, I particularly enjoy documenting my travels and the people and landscapes I encounter.
